I ALWAYS get questions asking how to become a sugar baby and I honestly hate that question. Not because I don’t want to help anyone, but because it’s such a detailed topic. Sugaring is considered a sex occupation, thus making sugar babies sex workers. Of course, Sex Work is frowned upon, however there’s a market for it so someone has to do it, right?
I’ve been a Sugar Baby for almost 2 years now and in that timespan I’ve been in 3 extremely different arrangements with wonderful gentlemen. I’ve been a spoiled gf at one point and even have been proposed to. So I must say I’ve had a fairly successful run thus far in the Sugar Bowl. So I figured I’d share some things I’ve done that I believe have helped me. Of course, this won’t fit all into one post so I’m going to make this a series here on my blog.
Step 1: Make a Sugar Alter Ego
The first thing, and most important, thing you must do is create a sugar alter ego. Buy a notebook. This notebook is you’re Little Black Book of Sugaring. On the first page, create your alter ego. This person only exists in the sugaring world.
They must have:
- a First, Middle (opt’l), Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Hometown & Current City of Residence
- Family Life
- Education
- Occupation
- Miscellaneous Facts about themselves
All of these things MUST NOT give a clue to your Vanilla Life. (Your Vanilla Life is your life outside of sugaring.) The one thing that can possibly be the same is where you currently live, but if you don’t want to share then change it.
Step 2: Create your Profiles
Once your sugar identity is made, you need to make them a profile. Some sites I suggest using as a newbie are SA (Seeking Arrangement), Tinder, POF, WYP (What’s Your Price? - an auction for dates). Use the info about your alter ego that you created to fill out your profiles.
Next, take pictures. Again, the objective is not to let your Vanilla Life and Sugar Life intertwine by keeping your Sugar Life a secret. That means, don’t use the same pictures on your sugar profiles that you have on your Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Shall you use the same pictures, your face MUST be blurred out.
The key to attracting a POT (Potential SD) is by amazing pictures. Your pictures must:
- Show your full body
- Show you doing something fun (a hobby, vacation pic, etc)
- Clear face shot (with or without makeup, your choice)
When it comes to setting yourself apart, having great pictures play a HUGE role in making POTs interested enough in you to want to read your profile. Once the messages come reeling in, that’s when you can pick apart which ones are worth your time.
Step 3: Create a Fake Number
Now that your profile is complete and pictures are up, it’s time to create a fake number. There are two routes you can go, using an app or google voice. With an app, I’d suggest using ‘TextFree’ or ‘TextFree+’. Both are free and the number is steadily available as long a you keep using it. Now with Google Voice, you can access that by using that Email Address you created for your Sugar Life. See how that came in hand? From there you can download the Google Voice app on your phone. With both apps, I believe you can save numbers in your phone’s contacts but they’ll only be used in the apps. All the logistics shall be explained once the apps are downloaded.
You NEVER want to give men your real number. Your safety is a priority at ALL TIMES. There are some crazy men who will try to find out information about your Vanilla Life. By Google searching your pictures, reverse dialing the phone number you gave them are just a few ways your Vanilla Life can be found out. That’s why it’s imperative to keep your Sugar Life & Vanilla Life separate. One false move and your whole identity is known and who knows who can be privy to that type of information.

So that was Steps 1-3 for starting your Sugar Life. I hope this post and blog series helps someone out there trying to enter the Sugar Bowl. As always, my inbox is open; I’m always willing to give advice and help someone out.
Until My Next Post,
